During 2007, the YWA
*Provided grants to 6 agencies for cross-turf programming
*Trained 25 youth workers in trauma-response
*Received art donations from over 200 youth for our YouthShines Art Auction, providing a chance for neighbors to meet the proud young artists and support the YWA
*Brought joy to hundreds of children & families at the 'I Dream A World' Holiday Party
*Honored Youth Worker of the Year to Shauna Rigaud, as well as granting other awards to local businesses and peer leaders
*Advocated for more youth jobs & more streetworkers to support high-risk youth
*Saw YWA members recognized as community leaders
*Offered assistance to youth workers in Mission Hill & elsewhere to develop their own networks
