POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator has primary responsibility for recruiting and working with the GoGirlGo! Community Network Organizations, volunteer management, program development and operations, training and education, and program outreach for the communities served by the GoGirlGo! Boston Community.

SCOPE: Reports to the GoGirlGo! Boston Community Director

RESPONSIBILITIES for Project Coordinator for the GoGirlGo! Boston Community:


GoGirlGo! Education Program-30%
• Work with the GoGirlGo! Community Director to identify and develop strategic partnerships with girl-serving organizations involved with GoGirlGo! education and grant components.
• Conduct curriculum training, technical assistance and curriculum observation site visits of programs.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the GoGirlGo! online community network
• Work with Senior Program Officer and Community Director to develop and deliver consistent meaningful evaluations and reports of each GoGirlGo! program component.

Fundraising/Development-10%
• Work with the GoGirlGo! Community Director to establish, implement and engage a member based Advisory Committee in support of GoGirlGo! local sustainability.
• Communicate with GoGirlGo! Community supporting programs and supporters via Emma.
• Identify GoGirlGo! media stories and statistical information for use in Corporate Sponsor and public relations presentations.
• Assists in the planning, setup and implementation of all special events and community events.

Community Outreach/Events-45%
• Recruit, train and activate and manage interns and volunteers for GoGirlGo!
• Steward partnerships with colleges, universities, sports teams and girl-serving organizations.
• Promote, organize and administer annual GoGirlGo! Week and GoGirlGo! Community Network member e-newsletter
• Represent and speak on behalf of GoGirGo! and the WSF at community events, and meetings
• Participate in GoGirlGo! and WSF community events/functions
• Promote and provide technical assistance (leadership institutes, curriculum training, etc.) to GoGirlGo! Community Network member organizations

Other Duties-15%
• Participate in all mandatory staff meetings
• Adhere to budgetary procedures
• Respond to miscellaneous information requests and correspondence
• Assist in writing and editing office communications, press releases, newsletters and marketing materials
• Responsible for inventory and organization of GoGirlGo! educational brochures and program materials.
