The Medical Foundation's Training and Capacity Building department seeks a motivated, experienced professional to join our team and provide coordination and training for youth work professionals and youth. The training associate will play a key role in our highly successful BEST Initiative.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The Training Associate of Training and Capacity Building (TCB) of The Medical Foundation:
* Provide training for and support the coordination of the BEST Initiative.
* Support training development and new business development.
* Provide training, facilitation and technical assistance to individuals, youth programs, agencies and government entities in youth development, prevention topics and community health planning and programming.
* When applicable, supervise high school, college and graduate student interns.
Qualifications:
* A Bacheolor's degree in education, human services, public health or a related field is recommended for this position. A Master's degree is a plus.
* 5 years of professional experience or a commensurate combination of education and experience. Additional years experience a plus.
* At least 2 years experience in training, facilitating, and providing technical assistance is essential.
* Supervisory experience of 2 or more staff/consultants a plus.
* Experience in monitoring a budget of $100,000 or more a plus.
* Experience in grant writing and business development is a plus.
* Expertise in youth development and cultural competence.
* Candidates must possess strong group facilitation skills and well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
* Leadership capabilities and demonstrated successful experience in working with diverse populations are required for this position.
* Bilingual capabilities are preferred, but not required.
* A valid driver's license and access to a car or the ability to navigate all types of public transportation is required, since travel throughout the Greater Boston area is a necessary function of this position.
