The registration deadline for the 2008 YUGA Leadership Camp is drawing near, and spaces are filling fast! Hurry and submit your application today!
 
The YUGA Leadership Camp is a peer education program for youth between the ages of 13 and 17 (going into 9th-11th grade) designed to help youth build their leadership skills and gain in-depth knowledge on issues affecting youth around the world.
 
YUGA Leadership Camp will be a packed week of workshops, skill building and outdoor summer fun. The campers will participate in workshops in the morning and part of the afternoon - but it can't be all work and no play, so the rest of camp time will be filled with swimming, boating, hiking, games, competitions, dances, camp fires, ice cream socials and more.
 
When: Sunday July 20th at 3:00 PM- Saturday July 26th at 10:00 AM
  
SCHOLARSHIPS STILL AVAILABLE! Scholarships to cover half of the camp registration fee are availabe for qualifying youth. Check out the scholarship application online!
  
The Youth Engagement and Action Program is a part of Plan USA, an international humanitarian organization that works with young people, their families, and their communities in 66 countries to help children realize their full potential in societies that respect people's rights and dignity. In the US, a key area of Plan's work is building youth leadership and global citizenship skills and capacities, and supporting youth to connect with each other and take action on issues that affect them.
