You are invited to participate in a city-wide photography project to make and collect images of social change and the people behind it in Boston, MA. It is free and open to photographers of any age or experience.

This project is by invitation only, so if you know of anyone or any group that may be interested in participating, please reply with their names and email addresses so I can send them an invitation.This project is schedule to remain open for submissions and comments through September 2008. After the project closes, a select panel of photographers, academics, and social change agents young and old(er) will review the images and select a portfolio that represents, in their opinions, a modern visual vocabulary for social change. This final portfolio will be professionally presented on a dedicated website and, pending financial support, displayed at venues throughout the City of Boston as a focal point for community discussion. Looking ahead, the organizers of this project hope it will engage a wide array of partners in a long term, city-wide project of youth development and community building through documentary photography and video.
