Interested youth can pre-register at either the Tobin or Blackstone Community Centers or contact anara@metamovements.com

Details

Salsa Ambassadors will learn about salsa history, music, culture, and of course dancing! In addition to receiving free salsa lessons, Salsa Ambassadors will also develop skills in planning, promoting and implementing successful community events. The program will also help youth build communication and leadership skills as they become teachers and role models for their peers and other community members. Throughout the program, Salsa Ambassadors will have opportunities to meet and learn from well-known "salsa professionals" (including promoters, instructors, musicians, dancers, radio hosts, etc). Successful Ambassadors will be able to earn dance shoes and salsa apparel over the course of the summer, and have the opportunity to join MetaMovements in the fall.
